My sister posted her first sonogram on Facebook this morning and I have to admit I almost cried. I was so proud that my little sister, who is now grown and married, would be bringing my second niece or nephew into the world! My happiness turned to anger when I found that I had been the victim of a cruel, and insensitive April Fools prank. I realized this soon after I left a truly heartfelt voicemail on her phone, although I must admit that I was upset she would announce this news to world on Facebook before a call to her own family.
Anyways...all this to say that this is no April Fools joke, just bad timing because I haven't updated this web page in many months. Carleigh and I will be moving to Birmingham Alabama in June. My wife Carleigh, whom many of you know and love, will graduate from Med School at the end of May and will start her career as an MD at Trinity Hospital in Birmingham in July. This is great and exciting news for us, as well as regretful news that we will have to leave San Antonio and many friends.
We are so excited to see what God has in store for us, and I'm excited to see what Carleigh thinks of the South East. I am also excited to be closer to some family in Atlanta as well as be able to see some Braves games in person and on T.V. (FINALLY...10 years of the Astros will make anyone go insane). Please keep us in your prayers as we make the transition.
I would also LOVE to tell you about some of the new songs I've been writing and I can't wait to show them to you all! Lastly, If there are any of you in Birmingham please send me some things that I'm going to need to know (such as restaurants, music venues, coffee shops and golf courses) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank You again for your love and support
